On Monday, March 4, 2024, Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company introduced four new supplemental insurance products to their already stellar line up of products. The new products fall under the Bankers Life Plus Series banner and cover Accident, Cancer, Heart & Stroke Plus, and Critical Care benefits.
Enrollees in 17 states will have access to these new plans designed to provide financial security and peace of mind when facing life's most uncertain events.

New Plus Series Plans

The Plus Series, Liberty Bankers Life’s line of supplemental plans, already includes Hospital Indemnity Plus plans. As this plan continues to be highly regarded among enrollees, the company decided to expand their Plus Series to extend additional benefits to those in need.
Each of the Plus Series products are meticulously crafted to provide comprehensive benefits against a range of health-related challenges. Below, we review the key features of each new product:
Accident Plus
Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. But, with Accident Plus, enrollees can rest assured knowing they have financial support in the event of mishaps. Key features include:
  • Lump sum benefits of up to $150,000 for accidental death.
  • Up to $60,000 for loss of limbs.
  • Up to $45,000 for fractures, dislocations, burns, lacerations, and eye injuries.
Cancer Plus
A cancer diagnosis can be devastating. With Cancer Plus, clients can focus on recovery rather than financial worries. Highlights of the plan include:
  • Lump sum benefits of up to $75,000 upon cancer diagnosis.
  • Additional coverage of up to $18,750 for carcinoma in-situ and experimental treatments.
  • Up to $750 for skin cancer.
Heart & Stroke Plus
Heart attacks and strokes can strike at any moment. Because of this uncertainty, Heart & Stroke Plus provides you a safety net to navigate these critical moments. Notable features include:
  • Lump sum benefits of up to $75,000 for heart attacks or strokes.
  • Additional coverage of up to $18,750 for coronary artery bypass surgery, aortic surgery, or heart valve replacement/repair surgery.

Expanding Coverage Across 17 States

Liberty Bankers Life's commitment to customer satisfaction is nothing new. As the new plans roll out, Liberty Bankers Life wanted to ensure the plans could help as many people as possible during its launch.
Starting March 4, residents of the following 17 states will have the opportunity to enroll in these new supplemental health products:
  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Arizona
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Iowa
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Michigan
  • Nebraska
  • Nevada
  • Oklahoma
  • South Dakota
  • Texas
  • Wisconsin
  • West Virginia
  • Wyoming
However, if your state did not make the list, do not worry. Additional states are expected to join the lineup in the near future, ensuring that Liberty Bankers Life's coverage reaches as many individuals as possible.

Beyond the Plus Umbrella Benefits

In addition to the core features of each Plus Series product, Liberty Bankers Life ensures that clients receive the highest level of benefits when enrolled in a Plus Series plan.
In addition to the great benefits you already receive when enrolled in a plan, Companion Travel and Pet Boarding benefits are also available as an additional perk to these plans. These supplementary provisions go the extra mile in providing all around coverage and peace of mind.
Companion Travel benefits cover lodging expenses for a family member while the policyowner is hospitalized more than 50 miles away from home. This benefit offers up to $100 per day for a maximum of ten days per calendar year.
Pet Boarding benefits ensure clients' beloved pets are cared for in a pet boarding facility while they are hospitalized. This benefit provides $50 per day for a maximum of ten days per calendar year.
Again, regardless of the Plus Series plan you enroll in, these additional benefits will be available to you.

How This Impacts Our Clients

With the expansion of the Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company Plus Series, clients across the country will now have access to reliable coverage to help them navigate the financial burdens of unexpected health complications.
By offering these supplemental plans to clients, we ensure to them that we are committed to not only their health and wellbeing, but also to their financial stability in the case of a surprise health complication.
